Perfect for celebrating the coming new year.
Alissia Melka-Teichroew (byAMT) has literally turned glasses inside out. The exteriors of her InsideOut glasses are neutral: the trapezoidal form of the archetypical drinking glass. It’s the negative space of the interior that reveals each glass’s intended purpose–especially when filled with liquid. The series includes three glasses: graceful champagne, demure liqueur, and conical martini. Each is made of hand-blown glass.

Not only beautiful: the double-walled glass provides insulation, keeping beverages cold for much longer than conventional barware.
Basically each room is a detached small independent house with one, or sometimes two of the walls constructed in glass. The landscape in which these rooms are placed is by most people considered spectacularly beautiful and varied and the topography allows a layout where no room looks at another.
In this way every room gets its own surprising view of a dramatic piece of landscape, always changing with the weather and the time of the day and the season.

The hotel is located in Norway.
Rain boots made in Japan out of natural rubber. The photo is not as good as it’s in real. I saw it at the beautiful boutique at Hotel Claska in Tokyo, and it’s really a nice piece of work.

Innovative steam cooking utensil based on age old steam cooking principal from south of india. This plate is an homage to the great architect Oscar Niemeyer and his monumental Brasilia. The plate made by Bosa Ceramiche is in perfect proportion to the original congress building.
I also like this ceramic bowl and vase by Satyendra Pakhale.
