Reusable bags
By swedish designer Claesson, Koivisto and Rune
« Plastic bags, made from fossil-based petrochimicals, are often thrown away. At best, into the trash, but for some reason also into the oceans, causing the death of tens of thousands of seabirds every year. paper bags are not the solution, as one might believe. It’s higher weight alone leads to seven times to the fuel consumption (of petrochimicals) in transport when compared to the plastic bag. Best of all is to use some sort of reusable bag when shopping.
Our simple idea is to combine. The design of the plastic bag is optimal. A front side and a back, with double-folded intagrated handles, joined together, makes the bag roomy and sturdy. At the same time, the non-profit organisation Stockholm City Mission, receives 16 tonnes of donated fabrics and clothing unsuitable for selling. Combined – an existing construction design and an existing eco-friendly raw material – they make a new, greener alternative to the plastic bag. »

Secret Sauna
At a first glance this sauna may appear to be an anonymous wooden cabin. But the front facade is actualy a door and when it’s opened you get a magnificient view over the archipelago. The door creates an intimate space with the guest hut next to the sauna and prevents the naugthy niegbours from peaking in as well.
