« The materials used in this work are veneer leftovers from a wood workshop which is closing down. The wood is cut by hand or lasercut into pieces of different geometric shapes. All pieces are stuck by hand on a textile base and compose a flexible surface. The potential of the carpet is its flexibility. It can be rolled up and transported easily. The wooden carpet’s ability to move implements a possibility of change. It can be laid flat on the ground, but also sculptured in a dramatic way, or shaped up the wall. »

Single family house located in Mälmo, south of Sweden by Lindvall A&D
The entrance side is facing a road with some traffic and is hence a rather closed volume. The part of the building facing a lake incorporates generous windows and minimally defined space to encourage the integration of the house’s interior with its stunning natural surroundings.
