Design Help, the association of young architects and designers from A1Architects, take aim at supporting and directly improving the hospital enviroment in Czech Republic.
The group has designed original jewellery collection made from recycled safe hospital waste. Unique earrings, bracelets and necklaces were made out of different kinds of infusion lids, outdated infusion hoses etc.

« The concept of a delicate rippling ribbon was chosen in view of the exposed position of the staircase in the main living area of the house. The staircase is constructed from 10mm thick sheet metal. Pairs of adjoining steps connected with an oblique external side joist form a bracket anchored in the wall. Each of the brackets is constructed as a rigid frame. The higher steps bear mainly drawing forces, while pressure is transmitted through the lower steps. »

Extension of the family house in Prague.
« The purpose of the project was the construction of a self-contained dwelling unit in the garden of the recently reconstructed house. It was necessary to deal with the dominance of the opposite panel house facade, avoid confrontation with the architecture of the original house and find out a solution that would not parasite on the garden area. »
