Villa 1
« Set in the woodlands of The Netherlands, the program of Villa 1 is oriented optimal towards the views on the terrain and the sun. Half of the program is pushed below ground to meet local zoning regulations. This creates a clear dichotomy in the spatial experience of the house – a glass box ground floor where all mass is concentrated in furniture elements and a ‘medieval’ basement, where the spaces are carved out of the mass. »

Forest Light
« Forest light is a new system for ceiling lights. The possibilities are unlimited. The design consists out of different parts, which can be connected at the ceiling. Step by step the light system is overgrowing the ceiling as it were.
It is possible to get one ore much more light points exactly where you want them. Also a wall light is possible. Obstacles or height differences are beautiful to use with these lights. »

Mitose Ceramics
By Amba Molly
« Can products fertilise each other – just like people – and do develop into something new?
I made a moulding system which is based on the human cell division. Starting with four products from two worlds, industrial and old-fashioned I used a plastic bottle, an old earthenware oil pitcher, a plastic Tupperware can and a hand-twisted earthenware can. By dividing the moulds systematically, 60 stones appeared. At four stages of division the products mix themselves increasingly further and gradually a new family with new DNA appears. »

Faraday Fauteuil
The Faraday fauteuil has arisen with as little as possible material ensuring a good construction and comfort. The result is amazing light, strong, transparent and ergonomic. Designers Teun Fleskens and Ingmar Cramers have searched the border between function and esthetic. The transparency of the fauteuil ensures a uniting with its surroundings. It’s usable inside and outside. The fauteuil is available in every RAL colour, also there is a RVS version which is entirely to recycle. Photography: Michiel Maessen.

Breaksoap
Most of the hand soap is replaced by soap pumps. However a lot of the soap pumps contain a lot of chemicals. The main reason why the hand pump was introduced is because it’s more hygienic and easier to use. I wanted to give the natural hand soap the same features so we could use the traditional soap again.
The block contains different sizes; dirty hands, you pick a bigger piece.

AVL Couch
« A seating family which adapts itself to the moment and the situation. That’s the best description of the new design from Joep van Lieshout for Lensvelt. Strictly realistic shapes with weighed use of material and functionality. The back slides from left to right or in neutral position, so that the desirable setting can be achieved. »

Reposed Light
« A series of ceramic lights that plays with a changeable motion of light beams. Shaping the ceramic compartments into various stills and positions to direct the light bundle into the right direction. Reposed Light contains out of a series of 8 ceramic compartments that hold the 7m fabric knitted cord. The compartments combine into a chain that through the weight of the material are flexible and steady to shape. The material makes it available to bundle the cord together on the wall, pendant or table. The compartments are possible to stack or bundle together to guide and give a base for the lightbulb itself. »
