Lamps Souches
« These lamps are blown in a mould sculpted into tree trunks. Man swells the glass as he blows. He uses fire and hisagility to work the molten glass. He stretches out a part of the form, which will then transform the item from primitive to functional, as this part will house the light fitting. The difficulty of this project was to avoid a perfectly roundshape (given by the moulds) and to work on the connectivity of the elements involved. »
Hem Shoe
« This shoe take her inspiration from the simplicity of several pattern like a collar, a hem, a kimono, a Clarks shoe… The project was to reduce the complixity of a classical shoe and to make and to find the most natural and simple form around the foot. The shoe is a piece of thick fabric with leather joined by velcro. »
